New heater block design for high-speed printing The new heater block design features a larger melting zone to meet the needs of high-speed, high-temperature printing. Titanium heatbreak Compared to the stainless steel heatbreak of Rapido Hotends, Rapido Hotends 2 have a heatbreak made of strong and light titanium. This robust material is characterised by lower thermal conductivity and less cooling capacity required, as well as excellent thermal insulation. This ensures better extrusion control and higher print quality. The optimised structure also reduces the risk of deformation and clogging. Ceramic heater planar structure The 90-watt ceramic heater of the Rapido Hotend 2 has a planar structure that is characterised by high reliability and higher heating output. To illustrate, the heating element heats up to 200°C in an incredible 35 seconds! Removable thermistor Rapido Hotend 2 uses a removable 104NT thermistor which is easy to service and replace. Quickly switch between high-flow & ultra-high-flow printheads A unique structural design enables fast switching between high-flow and ultra-high-flow printheads. The different nozzle types meet the needs of high-temperature and fibre filament printing. The adapter included in the delivery allows you to quickly switch between the hotends to meet any requirements. With a few simple twists you can set the optimal flow rate! Nozzle change with one hand The titanium alloy screws, which ensure a firm connection between the heating block and the heat sink, are characterised by low thermal conductivity. This rigid structure allows for easy one-handed nozzle changing. Danger! Although Rapido Hotend and Rapido Hotend 2 have the same dimensions, their heating element and heatsink are different. Therefore, these cannot be interchanged. Tip: The maximum flow rate during extrusion is 75 mm³/s.
